Ok, so I don’t know where to start right now. I just finished reading this about 30 minutes ago and I’m shook. I literally don’t know how I feel, because I have SO MANY thoughts and feelings whirring around in my head, I don’t know where to start.

I’m in agony, confused and in SO MUCH DANG SHOCK! I’m peeved that it ended where it did, because I so need book 2 to figure out…WTH just happened? Who did what? Where did this epic shock and awe ending come from? What’s real? What isn’t? How could they? When did this take place? Where can it possibly go from here? I’m just questioning everything right now.

Now I should admit, when I first started, I thought, ‘Wow, this is a little bit tame for Amo? Why does it feel like it’s moving a little fast?’ Well, girls (& guys) let me tell you. Once you get to the ending it all makes sense in a crazy non-sensical way. The ending is just FLIPPING phenomenal! It has thrown me onto a total mindf*ck. I, seriously, am questioning everything I just read and feel the need to re-read CBH just to see if I can get something out of it that I might have missed.

Bryant and Isa were a joy to read, despite their mutual hate for each other. Bryant is an alpha male of epic proportions. He’s twenty-seven years old and truly feels like his sh*t don’t stink. He’s domineering, a flat-out a**hole and yet he’s a family man in his own grumpy way. Isa is the rebellious child of the POTUS. She’s twenty, loudly voices her opinion, doesn’t take crap from anyone and is a Sex addict. Yet, when these two get together it’s the biggest power struggle ever. This, of course, makes for some incredibly hot, sexy and steamy scenes.

One thing I have learned after reading CBH, is that don’t go in with any preconceived notions. If you do, you will only end up hurt, lost, confused, wrecked and destroyed. I read the blurb and I thought I had a semi-storyline in place. WRONG ANSWER! Amo is the ‘queen’ of unpredictability and mind f*ckery so be prepared for one heck of a good book!

The only thing that was missing, is the link for book 2, because this girls gotta find out what’s going to happen next in that beautifully twisted mind of Amo’s. In all seriousness, read this book as soon as you can. However, make sure you have a bottle of wine, some beer or even hard liquor, cuz girl you’re going to need it!
